General hints:

• The conference language is English.
• Each presenter is responsible for making his/her own hotel reservation. You will find a list of recommended hotels with special rates on our website. Please note that the hotels will hold conference rooms until the mentioned dates. After this dates availability can not be guaranteed.
• Keyword for special room rates is "IFC 2014".
• To take advantage of the lower registration fee your registration form and payment must be received before 1 April, 2014.
• It is recommended to use SI-units to guarantee a world-wide understanding.

Abstract Information:

• Submission deadline: 18 December 2013
• Please use the conference website and the published template for abstract submission:
• Abstracts should not exceed 350 words.
• All abstracts will be published within an abstract booklet and hand out to each attendee at the conference.
• If the abstract is accepted the author's will receive a notification until 3 February 2014.

Speaker Guidelines:

• Conference presentations will be published after the conference on our website.
• Each presentation includes 15 minutes talk and 5 minutes for questions.
• Because of the short presentation time please do not present general overviews that are well-known and prerequisite for conference attendees.
• The submission of power point presentations via email will start on 1 April, 2014 and ends on 5 May, 2014. After this date please bring your presentation with a USB flash stick to the conference place.
• Plan to use the conference laptops for your presentation.
• Each presenter should check-in with the session chair approximately 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the session.
• We would be pleased to receive a passport photograph via email for an announcement of the speakers on our conference website and the speaker’s overview until 1 April, 2014.

Poster Guidelines:

• The posters will be mounted on pin boards with the following measurements: height 144 cm and width 117 cm. Please provide the poster in format DIN A0: 841 x 1189 mm.
• Pin boards are provided free for charge. Posters need not to be submitted in advance. Please bring a high quality print out by Monday.
• The poster display will start at 9:00 on Monday and closes Tuesday 7pm.
• If you are interested in publishing your poster on our website after the conference, please send us the last version as pdf-file until 30 May, 2014.
