Abstract Information:

  • Submission deadline: 6 February 2012
  • Please use the conference website and the published template for abstract submission:
  • Abstracts should not exceed 350 words.
  • All abstracts will be published within an abstract booklet and hand out to each attendee at the conference.
  • If your abstract is accepted (author's notification on 29 February, 2012), you are invited to submit a paper for publishing within a special issue of the journal "Fuel".

General hints

  • The conference language is English
  • Each presenter is responsible for making his/her own hotel reservation. You will find a list of recommended hotels with special rates on our website. Please note that the hotels will hold conference rooms until the mentioned dates. After this dates availability can not be guaranteed.
  • Keyword for special room rates is "IFC 2012".
  • To take advantage of the lower registration fee your registration form and payment must be received before 1 April, 2012.
  • It is recommended to use SI-units to guarantee a world-wide understanding.

Guidelines: Paper Submission - Special Issue for peer reviewed journal "Fuel":

  • Selected, peer reviewed papers will be published as conference proceedings in the journal “Fuel” as a special issue. Therefore it is necessary to prepare a detailed paper.
  • The paper is to be submitted from 1 February until 30 April, 2012 via the conference homepage.
  • The paper should not exceed 12 pages
